In the center of Northwest Iowa is Ida Grove; a town that's more than just castles. The Ida Grove Heritage Days is an annual event held from June 26th through June 28th on Main Street in Ida Grove. The Heritage Days event showcases the town of Ida Grove, all school alumni reunion, parade, and a day for kids in the park. Fun for all ages!

City of Ida Grove
Nestled in the rolling hills of northwestern Iowa is a rural community called Ida Grove. We are small in size, but large in opportunities and family values, and have a wide variety of activities for people from all walks of life.

Pleasant Valley Trail
Ida Grove has a great fitness resource in the Pleasant Valley Trail. The trail came into being in several phases between the years of 1994 and 2001. It is a great place to walk, jog, bicycle and rollerblade.

BCIG Scholarship Foundation
In the early 1990s, the late Whitey Thompson came up with an idea of a scholarship for every senior after talking to JC Miller of BGM. Whitey met JC when he worked in the town of Denison and kept in contact with him after his move. JC was responsible for starting a scholarship foundation at BGM that became very successful. One hundred percent of the IG Royal Run Registration fees go to support the BCIG Scholarship Fund.
